WSJ: FDIC Fund to Be in Red for Years as Bank Failures Jolt System.

This is my favorite quote of the article: “The rising number of bank failures has infuriated some politicians who have recently begun pressuring Ms. Bair’s regulators to ease up on their increasingly close supervision of the industry.” Translation: “Banks are failing because you are regulating them. Regulate them less.
